Ouologuem is a painter trained at the National Institute of Arts of Bamako (INA), where he graduated in June 2001 with a specialization in visual arts. In 2005, drawn to the media industry, he pursued further studies at the Conservatory of Arts of Bamako Balla Fasséké, earning a degree in multimedia.
Passionate about Malian art, he founded the Anw-Ko’Art Foundation to promote visual arts and Malian culture. His work is deeply inspired by his Dogon heritage, exploring its rituals, traditions, cosmology, and architecture. For him, painting the Dogon world is a way to express his identity and contribute to the preservation of this cherished cultural heritage.Based in Mali, Ouologuem actively showcases his work on both the national and international art scene. He has exhibited in numerous countries, including France, Germany, England, Belgium, China, the United States, Spain, Venezuela, Ghana, Martinique, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Angola.Staying true to his roots, Ouologuem makes Dogon culture the guiding thread of his artistic creations.
