In January 2022, the Bamako Art Gallery organized a collective exhibition titled "I Have a Dream", featuring works by 25 students from the Balla Fasséké Kouyaté Conservatory of Arts and Multimedia Crafts. This exhibition was part of the "King Street in Bamako" project, aimed at revitalizing Martin Luther King Avenue through artistic creations. The students, mentored by renowned artists such as Cheick Diallo and Amadou Sanogo, designed works integrating visual arts, design, photography, and sculpture. These creations were then installed along the avenue, transforming the public space into a tribute to the civil rights activist. The project was supported by the U.S. Embassy in Mali and local authorities, with the goal of raising awareness among the Bamako population about the ideals of social justice, freedom, and peace championed by Martin Luther King.
